Marquis holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo, a minor in psychology, has sung and danced in many musicals, and has 8 years of experience teaching Shakespeare to the youth.

He believes that people sometimes become numb to their emotions in day to day life and by experiencing a story told through film or live theater it helps people realize they are not alone.

His need to elicit an audience's emotional response is what drives him to peruse his acting career.
